Avodah Gallery Name Explained

Avodah - service to God (work, service)

The theme of this gallery is to serve in the ministry and spread the love of God to others. Through these art pieces I hope to give you a visual of what scenes in the Bible may have looked like in the modern day as I hope to grow in my art experiences further than just painting. This is my way of sharing the gospel with you and others who come across my website.

From Hadassah Lamproe:

This Gallery is not just meant as a service to people but serves as my way of service to the LORD. I put the talent I have into my ministry. Up until now, (2024 in my 10th grade year) I have only had elementary art classes. I love what I do and want to share my works with you through the ministry of art! I've created each of these pieces only through God's blessing hoping that it blesses you in return. I've put my anointing, emotions and my perspective on God's word into each piece. However, I love a great challenge and love hearing your ideas!

This painting took 8-10 hours. It is the first painting I sold and I never expected it to turn out this good! Though Jesus was not a caucasian man, it shows Jesus as he stands in for you and I and takes the sin we have in our hearts. Because of the actions of Jesus, we can live innocent in a world that says we are guilty.

Though it's not biblically accurate, this painting shows some emotions of Mary as she washed the feet of Jesus. One of the many goals of this painting was to bring many cultures and races into the picture as everyone is equal and are all going through life's struggles together. If you haven't yet, go listen to the song that greatly inspired this painting! The name of it is "Alabaster Box" by CeCe Winans.

Following the multicultural theme, this painting is an indian woman, though she may seem to be a little light skinned in the painting. She represents a beautiful queen named Esther who saved the lives of her people. The entire hebrew nation was saved by her boldness and bravery to go against the law and social expectation to follow God's will and path.

“Hadassah Lamproe is a very unique young artist. Her attention to detail evokes strong emotions to what she is portraying. Hadassah's creativity coupled with her interpretation of the scriptures make her a force not only in the art world, but also in the kingdom of God.”
